Chamber Welcomes New Executive Assistant
February 11, 2025Hartwell, GA– Hart County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce it has hired a new Executive Assistant, Amber Howell. Native to Hart County, Howell brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in community organizing, communications, and marketing to her new role.
Howell, 33, holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of North Georgia, and has worked at the local, state, and national levels. Shaped by a passion for advocating for marginalized communities and advancing policies that promote equity and growth, her career has spanned roles in social work, politics, communications, and marketing. Most recently, Howell served as Media Director for a national campaign, a position that took her across the country to manage media opportunities and press relations.
“I am thankful to be home again, and thrilled about this new role with the Chamber”, Amber says, “I have a deep affection for this community and am looking forward to working with our local businesses, leaders and residents to create opportunities for growth and collaboration.”
In her new role as executive assistant at the Hart County Chamber of Commerce, Howell will assist with daily operations, help coordinate community events, and work to build strong partnerships between the chamber and local businesses. Her passion for community, along with her experience in media and communications makes her a perfect fit for the Chamber. We look forward to seeing the impact she’ll make in this role.
