• Nicki Meyer Scholarship Online Form

    The Nicki Meyer Scholarship was created to honor the memory and legacy of Nicki Meyer. Nicki was the director of the Hart County Chamber of Commerce from 2012-2017 and loved working in our community to boost economic development and tourism. Prior to moving to Hartwell she had a vast career in retail and banking and was also a business owner in southern Florida. She had a heart for volunteerism and was an active volunteer/member of the following organizations: Hartwell DDA, Hartwell Service League, Have a Hope Christian Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, TORCH of Hartwell, Hartwell Helps, and many more.

    We are excited to award a $1,000 scholarship to a Hart County senior who exemplifies her character in an entrepreneurial spirit and love for their community.

    APPLICATION PROCESS
    Applicants for the Nicki Meyer Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
    • Hart County High School senior in good standing on track to graduate in May/June 2025
    • Completed community service hours with a Hart County organization
    • An interest in becoming an entrepreneur
    Applicants should complete the following items to be considered:
    • The scholarship application
    • Two letters of recommendation (one letter from a teacher/advisor, one letter from a non-relative personal reference)
    • Professional Resume
    • Business Plan- plan should provide details about a business that they would like to start. This plan can also be for an existing business that the student has already started.

    All applications are due no later than Friday, April 11, 2025.
